During COVID-19, we were tasked with installing custom plexiglass screens in the New Jersey State House Assembly and Senate Chambers to ensure safety and continuity of operations. Key challenges included preserving the historic integrity of the chambers, meeting custom design needs for various podiums and desks, adhering to new health guidelines, and completing the project under tight deadlines.

Our team provided a tailored solution by designing custom screens with exact dimensions and cutouts for equipment, using non-invasive installation techniques to protect surfaces, and ensuring the transparent plexiglass maintained visibility and functionality. The project was delivered ahead of schedule and within budget.

The outcome of the project included enhanced safety and compliance with health guidelines, preservation of the chambers’ aesthetics, increased confidence for lawmakers and staff, and timely, budget-friendly completion.
