We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and layout of interior spaces, specifically focusing on furniture selection and placement. Your expertise in AutoCAD and 20/20 CAP software will be crucial in creating accurate and detailed plans.

Basic Function:

Provide design and Specification support for to the sales team and management of a contract office furniture & interiors dealership, All design personnel are responsible for space planning, specification, color selections, renderings and marketing. Basic responsibilities include workload management, representing design in sales presentations, professionalism, and accuracy of department, etc.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• – Review projects with sales teams
• – Space Planning via AutoCAD
• – Create 2D and 3D Plans with matching specification
• – Create specifications using CAP
• – Finish Selections using multiple materials (Furniture, Paint, Flooring, lighting)
• – 3D Color HD computer generated renderings – a plus via Sketch Up or Revit
• – Create budgets and quotations
• – Interior Corporate Branding
• – Field Verifications and measurements

Job Requirements:

Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of 1 years of design experience in a contract furniture dealership preferred but not required.

Experience with preferred tools: AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, CAP 2020, Revit, Adobe Photo Shop, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Microsoft Office,

Experience with the following a plus: Contract Furniture, Interior Branding, Contract Flooring, Window Treatments, Lighting, Material Selection
